Cinco De Mayo is one of the most popular ethnic holidays celebrated in the United States. Lucky for us, it is right around the corner! Once you’ve decided on the menu and guest list, it’s time to get down to the decor. A welcoming ambiance full of bright colors and fun decor will set the stage for your event, letting them know from the moment they arrive that they are in for a great time.
Graduation season is just around the corner. What better way to celebrate your children’s accomplishments than by hosting a party for your graduate? Your child has worked hard for their high school or college degree and sending them off with a bang is the perfect way to mark the completion of this important milestone. For some students, they have not gathered the right amount of credits to graduate. They see this as them never graduating and alongside their peers. Times have changed now, where schools can offer students online courses to allow students more time learning topics they need, rather than what they already know. You’ll graduate in no time!
Many of you know about, or have previously participated, in our Christmas Light Recycling Program. Last year’s program was a great success, and we recycled over 3000 pounds of Christmas Lights! (That’s a lot of recyclable material that was kept out of a landfill, and will instead be repurposed and reused.) To those of you who participate, we thank you for making a conscious effort to reduce your waste and recycle your old, non-operational, or inefficient light sets, by offering you a 15% OFF Coupon on Energy Efficient LED Lights. It’s a win win for you, and the planet.

Memorial Day and the beginning of summer, when the air becomes thick with the scent of grilled foods and cut lawns. The month of May means the start of outdoor décor season for many parts of the country. A pair of holidays during this month offer excellent opportunities to go beyond simple decoration and a chance to honor those who have served to keep America free. The Fourth of July may be America’s birthday, but don’t miss these opportunities to celebrate days just as important to the country.
LED rope light is one of the most versatile lighting solutions on the market today. The versatility of this lighting product is primarily the function of three product features: 1) It’s very flexible – can be bent to form shapes or words; 2) It’s small – 1/2″ round unit evenly distributes a lot of light; and 3) It can be cut to custom lengths – must cut on specified cut marks. With bulbs spaced 1″ apart, incandescent rope light consumed a lot of electricity and produced a lot of heat. The introduction of LED rope lighting made rope light a safer, and more economical lighting solution.
Unlike traditional incandescent lighting technology, LED lights are not constantly on. That is, all LEDs flicker or turn on and off at a very high rate of speed. This is one of the reasons that they are so much more efficient, but it also can cause some undesirable effects in the appearance of the lights. Currently, there are two different types of LED Christmas tree lights on the market: 1) full wave (rectified); and 2) half wave (non-rectified).
